First time build. Will this work?

Hi, making a gaming PC in a mid sized tower.

Here is the parts I'm looking at ordering tomorrow or in the next few days.

My biggest query is that someone is telling me my power supply won't be enough to support the GPU + CPU? The GPU says it requires 600w in the specs and the CPU requires 88 so therefore his logic is that I need at least a 688w PSU. Other people are telling me the GPU will only use around 300w or so and a 650w PSU will be more than enough.

I like the Seasonic because it's good quality but there is a 750w Silverstone at the same price with less warranty/quality etc.

Will my system work and is the PSU I've selected fine?

Thanks in advance for the help!
