First Build - Revision 2

Hi, I know I already made a post about my build, but I changed almost every component after reading some recommendations. The build is meant to be for music production, graphic design, mid/light gaming, and a bit of CAD if I can squeeze it in there. I'd really like to keep it $700 or under, but I'm still open for suggestions/improvements!

This would be another option for you that I have seen many other build around this budget that would boast a significant graphical improvement but limit your core processes. Note: you can over clock this unit to gain back some of the processor speed loss by downgrading the processor. I'ts just something to think about.

not sure why all my prices are higher then yours maybe because Ive added 6% sales tax to my build.

scratch that, this MB doesn't have unlocked OC, just a performance boost option. You would need something like this for MB MSI Z97M-G43 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

I'm hoping to keep this build for a while (5 years at the absolute least) so I don't think I want to overclock. I'd also like the extra cores, since I multitask a lot. Thanks for the suggestion, though! I like the video card, it's just a bit out of my price range.

overclocking as a rule doesn't reduce your lifespan per say, it is the heat and the vcore that does that. I added a cpu cooler to the build to help with heat. Here is also a comparison below I meant to add. The I5 is 30% better but that's unclocked so clocked it could reach similar results even with multitasking. But if OC and gaming isn't your primary thing then looks like you have the right CPU.

Oh, well thank you for the suggestion though! Do you think I should really invest in a better GPU though? What will that do for me in terms of graphic design work/CAD?
