Editing/Gaming PC - Portable, $1500. Appreciate any ideas!

Going to be used for gaming and photography workflow (photoshop/lightroom). I will be travelling a lot soon, so I want to keep the form-factor as small/light as possible without sacrificing power. Although, I am worried about heat/airflow in this build with OC.

I haven't built since since i7-950 first was released. I would appreciate any insight. $1500 budget; lower would be better.

Cheers.

I'm not sure if you can fit that many fans in that case especially with that big video card. The rest looks like a solid build.

I just would like to note that you said portable and have a Huge CPU cooler. Sure you can move it, but you have to be really cautious..if you want it to be more portable I would suggest a closed loop water cooler like the H100i for slightly more cost and cooling efficiency. Not sure if it will fit in that case, but i did see this.

The weight from the large cooler and card do worry me. I am not too impressed with the H80i, and the H100i will not fit. What other options would you consider?

How effective are the coolers designed specifically for SFF applications? Something like this
