We really can't tell you, because we don't know your budget, what you're going to be using the computer for, or whether it's a simple upgrade or completely new build.

Oh ya derp, I have enough left in my budget to sli the gtx 780's and was just wondering how much more of an improvement i would see. Its a simple upgrade and I'm using my pc for heavy gaming and video editing

Aaah, alright. Well in that case, SLI increases performance in gaming by about 10-80% depending strongly on whether the game supports multiple videocards and to some degree, resolution. I'm sure that it will also provide some benefits for video editing and such, so I would say that if you have the extra money and the extra money can't be spent on improving other aspects of the computer significantly or won't affect your real life financial situation in a negative way, then adding a second 780 would benefit you.
