How will this motherboard do?

Will the Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard be sufficient to run this system? I am getting a microatx mobo because I want to save a bit of money and spend that on a better vid card like the gtx 660. I wont be overclocking or needing a dual gpu for a while, and when i decide to do so, I can always upgrade to a atx board.

My question is- Is this a quality board and can i trust it to put it in my system?

Thanks doods!

If you aren't overclock and looking for a good quality board, then I would recommend the MSI 760GM-P23.

I also noticed that you had a 550W PSU, which is a little unnecessary if you don't intend to do any upgrades immediately, so I suggest you get the Corsair CX 430W PSU, which is a lot of wiggle room too.

Another part where you could cut money was the ODD, seeing as it was 17$ versus 14$.

I hope that is all you want.

drop the RAM your paying too much for average 1600...get some ripjaws or corsair for around 10 dollars less or if you look on newegg i saw 8GB for like 49.99 due to the deal of the say. hope this helps

e. If you want to overclock, do not change your mobo to the one below, and get a hyper evo

A. And those people are addicted to typing slang using their cellphones, like it seems you are.

B. Even if you went sli you would not need a psu that big.

C. You do not want to cheap out on basic components like a hard drive.

E. Not over-clocking extends the life of components by 20%

A. Agreed.

B. That is a very good psu. It's modular, and ranked as tier 2.

C. Not really "cheaping out" on Hard Drive, but if you could get http://pcpartpicker.com/part/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezex for maybe $50 more, I believe it's faster, and overall (it's western digital) it's probably going to be more reliable.

E? I don't know where he gets this statistic. With a good motherboard, I'm pretty sure that you can overclock pretty well without lessening the longevity of your components. At voltage like 1.3V, then it will, but you could probably get to 4 GHz without increasing voltage much if you're lucky.

Wow, you seem to think highly of yourself. It's funny that you don't even know your alphabet. (A,B,C,E)
