Alright so, i wanted to get a new cpu. I was thinking about the fx 8320. But my motherboard says it can only handle 95 watt cpu's. But the part that is confusing me is that my current cpu (fx 4200) is a 125 watt processor. So should i just get the fx 6300 or get the 8320?

PS my mother board is a m5a78l-m lx.

  • AMD FX-6300. The 4200 is not listed as officially supported either.

yea but i mean having the 4200 ive had NO issues. I dont see why a 8320 would make a difference. Plus i have a decent power supply.
