Hey Everyone,

New to the site and attempting to put together my first PC Build. I wanted to build a PC that would be upgradeable in the future with minimal work. I figured in the future I could drop in an additional R290 into it. I factored 700 watts to be sufficient for that upgrade. I was hoping to get any input you may have specifically towards picking a case.

Also need to keep the monitor to try and match preexisting one.

Appreciate the help. Have a great weekend.

What is the budget for the case?

A case is a very personal decision, but I will suggest a few that will work well with this build. Look at NZXT Source 530, Phantom 530 and Corsair 450D to name a few. The 290 is supposedly a hot card so you're gonna want good airflow. Also, I personally wouldn't trust that raidmax psu and would recommend one by Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, or EVGA. If you plan to crossfire I might even go up to 850 watts to give you a little extra room for overclocks.
