Hi guys, I have a little problem. I'm building a gaming PC for a friend and he has a really tight budget. I was wondering if you could help me out by getting the price down without sacrificing performance. Thanks!

I do not know much about this but you can always take off the Microsoft Windows (it is $100) - and you can install something else or just take the free version of it online.

that case can get down to 20 maybe. that hard drive can down about 10 bucks. If u don't need crossfire so cheaper motherboard can do. that ram doesn't need 1600 so save like 10 bucks. i'm afraid thats it. like 50 bucks maybe

That ram was the cheapest on newegg, I'm trying to make it so in the future he can upgrade so I don't want to cut the crossfire compatibility. As for the HDD That was also the cheapest.

on new egg yeah. okay that ram is. okay i understand. just saying you downgrade to 500 gb then you save 10. i don't recommend that though

You shouldn't go for crossfire later. It would bring more performance to sell the card and get a new one for . The only way it would be worth it is if you bought 2 or more graphics cards now, however with your budget it isn't an option.

You might be able to get a product key online for Windows 8.1 cheaper than you can buy a disk version, just download it to a flash drive and install from that.
