Build advice - two options

I'd appreciate some feedback for these two I put together quickly as a guide. The pc will be used for gaming purposes, single monitor, 1080p.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Cubular/saved/pxtKHx - cheap

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Cubular/saved/ryyqqs - expensive

3 questions I have are:

1) will the more expensive build last 2-3 years longer with minor alterations? 2) will the cheap build run games on high/ultra for the next 3 years? 3) Would I see a noticeable difference in in-game quality between the two systems for current games?

Thanks, Cube

  1. They will both last 4-5 but you can customize the intel one more since the amd am3+ will be going away soon.

  2. Don't you dare mix that cpu with the r9 280x or you will get crazy bottlenecks on it and cause you many problems. Cheep cpu + great gpu = bad

  3. You will only see differences in cpu intensive games.

Lastly if you really want that gpu for a cheep one get at least an fx 6300 or you will kill your system.
