Was looking to put together a system that can run most games on ultra at 1440p while live streaming for the next few years. Also plan to do a fair bit of overclocking, of course. Will upgrade to sli later down the road. All feedback is welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Ok no, not a fan of msi motherboards, 16gb of ram now so I dont have to worry about it later. No need for dual 290x's for 1440p gaming, and when i'm ready to move onto 2000p gaming i'll run another 780ti in sli. Excellent call on the hd tho :-)

You won't have to worry about 16gb of ram for quite a while. If you are just gaming it is and will remain futile for some time. You are overpaying for a motherboard. You don't need it and there are cheaper options even from Asus that will offer he performance you need. I am not sure why you insist on the PSU as the on I have chosen is great and if you want one even better go for a platinum seasonic. A r9 290x in crossfire would destroy framerates in 1440p for quite some time but if you want to go with a 780ti go ahead. The black 1tb hard drive is around 77 bucks btw if you wanted to retain the same quality of hard drive(:
