Hi there! I know this is a common question, but I'm interested in building a gaming pc for roughly $1000. Currently, I am using an Alienware M15x with the i7-2670QM, 8GB ram and the GeForce GT 555M. Unfortunately, the GPU is dying a horrible heat related death. I'd like to not downgrade, but like I said I've only got around 1K to spend. I do have peripherals already, and I'm not 100% sold on anything on my list. I do have the razer deathstalker/naga, though, so I'd prefer a green case. :)

I'd really appreciate a look through my parts list.

Anything I should change? This is the first computer I'd ever build from scratch, although I have assembled pre-picked parts before.

Thanks very much!

Overclocking scares me, so probably not. :) Thanks for the reply!
