How's This Gaming/Coding/SchoolWork/EverythingButMainlyGaming Rig? 1st Build

How is this for my first build? I want it to work well, and will be used mostly for Minecraft type games, nothing fancy like BF4.

Looks good to me. Although I have to say, I own that case and I'm not really thrilled with it. The cable management is awkward at best and my PSU interferes with the lower side fan mount, so I had to get a slim fan for that spot. That said, for $30 the overall build quality is very good.

Akward how? Will it still work without overheating?

There is very little space behind the motherboard tray to route your cables. And there's not really a good way to route cables along the top of the motherboard short of like taping them to the top of the case. Also, the expansion slots have to be punched out to be used and the case only includes one slot cover, so if you punch out two in the wrong place or end up moving your cards around you can end up with uncovered slots. It will work without overheating, but it's hard/impossible to have pretty cable management.

Do you know of a better case? I was hoping for a red one, but I can' t pay too much more. The case doesn't have to be on this site. I just liked the red case and light, and the keyboard was going to be black with a red backlight as well.

If you're set on red, I'd look at the Corsair Spec cases. Only the Spec-02 is listed on pcpartpicker, but there is a Spec-01 and a Spec-03 as well. They have red lighting, but also windows, so I don't know how you feel about that.

Or these ones don't have windows, but are a bit more expensive.
