Thank man. Much appreciated. Looks good to me! Might only change to 2 x 8g ram

You're welcome. I would have liked 16GB as well or even 32GB for video editing systems but you did limit the budget to $1000.00 AU. :)

Faster overall(better SSD, faster CPU), in gaming(better GPU) & faster in video editing.

Awesome, thanks man. If I had an extra $3-400 what would you suggest I could upgrade on your suggestion? ( got more than I thought on my tax return)

...GoPro... If I had an extra $3-400...

That would mean change of platform from AMD to Intel. If using GoPro Studio Editing Software, GoPro recommended hardware states: Intel Quad Core™ i7 or better. And for any video editing software, generally, more memory is better.

Thanks for the feedback, I have been out of the PC game for a few years now and so much has changed. Can anyone please suggest a nice Intel option for around the $1000 au mark? Only need tower less windows and burner, Cheers.

With the extra money you can switch to Intel and get even better performance and add more memory which will come in handy when your projects start growing..

Oh, the Xeon is 4790-200 Mhz - an integrated GPU for 50 AUD less.

Thanks for that, nice build and I think I'll go with the I7-4790 as it get pretty good reports and gopro recommend it for their software. Have put a request for quote into Mwave. will let you know how I go. Thanks to all for your great help.
