Both sample builds, looking for opinions. Primarily used for gaming and looking to have a solid computer that will not need upgrades for long time but can be upgraded if need be.

thanks for looking at it. yeah I did not include the case/psu because I already have those and they are good to great quality.

In your opinion, which is preferential Intel or AMD build for gaming and longevity at the 800 to 850 price point?

Intel beats AMD in gaming in most of games, but AMD CPUS are usually cheaper then Intel CPU, so the difference in price allows you to get a better GPU(the R9 290, in this case).

Regarding longevity, if you don't overclock them too much/don't go crazy with voltages, they should last a long time, regardless of being made by AMD or Intel..

Could I get an opinion on this part list or be provided another list with a price point this time capped at 650$
