No...

Cpu is really as low as you can go, and it does effect game play alot at that point with benchmarks in many games being half that of an i5 or even an fx6300 or pentium...

That hdd is obscenely expensive... You can get double the size at half the cost from a good brand.

The gpu is very weak. Get at LEAST a 750ti or an amd 260x

That power supply is alot bigger than you need, but it's cheap, so might as well...

I suggest spending about $60 on a good 1tb drive, getting a basic keyboard and $20 mouse for now (upgrade them later) and using the savings for a better cpu and gpu. It will make a huge difference

The Athlon is fine for low end games. It might bottleneck a high end GPU, but nobody puts an athlon in a build with a 780 ti IRL. It will be fine. I do agree with you about the GPU and HDD though.

It's just a better idea to grab an fx 6300 which performs much better and doesn't cost too much

I guess so, but good AM3+ motherboards are a little more expensive.

just as a note i'm running an athlon 750k with an r9 270x and it's perfectly fine. OP - go with a 750ti for price to performance. Grab a western digital caviar blue 1tb hdd.

If we are talking price to performance, the R7 265 beats the 750 ti at the same price.
