  • Not really a big fan of hybrid drives. For comments: ServerFault
  • While Windows 7 Pro is decent, depending on usage, may or may not be suitable for server use. Most think Linux for servers.

  • If my memory serves, you will have to jump through hoops to install Windows operating system on hard drives larger than 2TB.
  • Just a nitpick, not really a big fan of Seagate consumer drives.

I am a massive fan of Seagate... it's all I have ever used and no problems. And I don't understand what you were saying lol...

I have only ever use Win and I don't plan on changing... Lunix isn't where my preference stands...

If set on Windows, again, depending on usage, compare with Windows servers versions then.

You stated that it will be used as a "server". I repeat, decide according to your requirements. Good luck.

So as I asked... Would it be good for running intense servers for gaming?

May I ask if you could reply? I am in a very bothered mood right now sorry but would it be good for running intense servers for gaming?
