This RAM is faster and cheaper http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmz8gx3m2a1866c9

and you need an optical drive for the OS, everything else is fine.

what is this build for?

If its for gaming you don't need anything higher than an i5 4690k.

as for ram g-skill ram is very good and are very affordable at under $10 per GB.

$1500 for a gaming pc sounds like overkill. if its for gaming you can easilyax out your budget at under $1200 and save a few hundred bucks.

as for figuring out which ram is better you divide the CAS by the bus times 1000.

example:

CAS 7 1600 ram = 7/1600 * 1000 = 4.3

CAS 8 1600 ram = 8/1600 * 1000 = 5.0

CAS 9 1833 ram = 9/1866 * 1000 = 4.8

CAS 9 2133 ram = 9/2133 * 1000 = 4.2

the lower the CAS the better but a higher bus doesn't mean its better either. the lower the final number is the better. so in this example the 4.2 ram is better but will also be more expensive if not on sale. look hard enough and you will find that 4.2 or 4.3 ram for under $80.

generally you want to look for CAS between 7-9 anything higher than 9 CAS is not good ram.

the ram you selected is 5.6 which is way to high and the price is too high.
