First build: cheap gaming pc

Hey everyone first of all Im really sorry in advance if I made an "facepalming" mistakes, I'm quite new to computers in general. I have a budget of just under 1000$ (just for the pc) and I am open for suggestions and opinions. I am trying to build a pc that can run games like smite, dayz, minecraft, Counter strike, and gmod without much lag. One side question about my build that I have i noticed that my motherboard has onboard front usb 3.0 header but the case does not. I wouldnt be using the usb header anyways so would this be a huge issue? would the motherboard be affected if i still used it in that case? Thanks!

I would get a gtx 760 instead of a 660 because the 660 isnt the current generation.

And if you really don't plan on using any usb ports whatsoever, then the issue with the case not having onboard usb3 is fine.
