Recommendations for upgrades within this system?

I think my constraint is going to be my PSU especially if I wanted to go with two more cards in SLi. If I went with two 770s, that would be over 450W likely combined. Perhaps my best option is to get a single beefy card?

Opinions are welcome. Money really isn't a factor, but I don't want to drop $800 on a card if you guys/gals think an overall new PC would be just as good.

Also, I guess an SSD would help a lot too. When I first built it in 2010, SSDs weren't as stable and cost efficient as they are now.

Thanks a lot!

I dont know if i would try running too high of a graphics card with that CPU.

For gamers, number one factor is usually video card.

I've asked around elsewhere and some people have recommended going to an R9 280 and R9 280X. Thoughts?

Yeah.

I was going to go with two cards in SLi/Xfire, but I've read good things about the R9 280X. If I need to upgrade my CPU because it's not enough, then I'll do that.
