I know this has been asked a thousand times, but every thread I read there's somebody saying seagate or wd send faulty hdd.

looking at a 1tb 7200 rpm. seagate is 54 wd is 59

should I just get the seagate?

No, get the Western Digital. Have you ever heard of you get what you pay for. I bought a Seagate, then 6 months later it crashes and I lost everything. GO WITH WESTERN DIGITAL!
