I wanted a gaming pc for under $900 that I could easily use for undergraduate work. I'm currently waiting for a $20 rebate on the PSU that hasn't yet been factored in. Tell me if there is any way I can make this more effecient with the parts I have already bought, especially concerning my RAM. Thanks in advance!

After the rebate, your over priced ram becomes a crazy deal, so keep that.

For a very small amount more, you can get a 290 gpu which will blow away a 770, or you can get a very small performance gain over the 770 by paying less for a 280x.

Your deal hunting was decent, so there's really not much else that can be done considering you already bought the i7 and psu. That's a super cheap i7 build there...
