I would like to come in under $100 for a power supply I have a i7 4790k, 280 video card, Asus z97-a MB. I didn't buy a supply because in my unit now I have a Raidmax RX700 AC that is only six months old but I keep reading It needs to be Haswell approved. Please help I would like to order asap

Also, don't buy raidmax parts in the future. They are terribly made.

You don't need 750w. 550-650w is ideal.

Haswell approved? Don't worry about it.

"Haswell approved" is for PSU that can still run in low power output mode when a Haswell chip goes into sleep mode. If you don't like or use sleep mode though, yeah, don't worry about it.
