Replacing Fans in Case

hey everyone I was looking at this case that I really like mainly because my fav. color combo is red and black and it also has 3 stripes which gives the impression of an Adidas case. The problem is that the stock LED fans are blue and the window gives a blue-ish color and I don't like the way blue blends with red. So I was looking to replace the fans with red LED fans. Is it possible? If so, has anyone done this before? Help me out please and here is the case I am talking about.

It's relatively normal (and easy) to replace case fans. It's just a matter of getting the right fan sizes, removing the current fans, place in the new fans, and plugging them in.

cool thanks and what about the window panel? will the red LED fans give off a red color even though the window looks kinda blue?

Afraid the blue window is going to affect the color of the fans you want to go with. Raidmax has a case that doesn't have a tinted window, though the looks of the case aren't as aggressive as the case you want.

With that case, you'd need to get a hold of two 80mm fans and a 120mm with red LEDs.

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/silenx-case-fan-efx0815r - those would probably be your best bet for 80mm fans for the Raidmax Tornado case, assuming you get it over the other one.

Yeah I just don't like the silver metal look plus the location to put the PSU. I might just have to take the panel to have it tinted in another color. Possible right?

For the one with the blue tinted window, you'd have to get rid of the window all together and get a new one made that's clear. Generally for tinted windows like that, they mixed dye in with the plexiglass when it was still liquid. Assuming you have the proper tools, the same type of plexiglass in clear, and steady hands, you could cut out a replacement window, remove the original, and rubber cement in the one you made.

Assuming you go that route, you'd certainly make one custom case.

Its possible! as chaos posted, those are some of the more popular fans, but if you dont want those check around there are tons!

Yea I see how you think it will look given that the window gives off a blue color despite putting red LED fans inside?

Regardless it won't look like crap.. if anything the red will just appear as a darker red inside the case but will still noticeably be red.

Well I personoly dislike LED fans, as I think they are uneven lighting (if that makes sense?). If I were you I would just buy normal fans and save some money there, and then look at something like the NZXT Hue (FANTASTIC product, ANY color you could wish for) I think it will give a much more even lighting look and just overall look better. But it is your choice of course, both will give the same idea result
