I prefer gigabyte over asrock. I have had better luck with the gigabyte boards.

I have the Gigabyte FX990 and it overclocks very well. You should be able to get about 4.5 or so maybe 4.4

It's a pitty too because the place I'm going to had that board for $75. Out of stock of course. But that was the pipe dream.

Also How important is eSata?

It isnt really important because of usb 3. There are hardly any drive that use esata. eSata is External sata and it isnt power so anything that uses it need a power brick.
