Are ethernet, wifi, and blutooth integrated on some motherboards, or does one just buy a separate card(s)?
Most boards that I've seen have "Onboard Ethernet: 10/100/1000 Mbps"listed on this website which i take to mean that they have integrated wired internet access.
Integrated wifi varies from board to board. If you search newegg and click compare they'll show you which features are included.
For example notice in the following link:
Under features the Gigabyte lists Support Intel Wi-Fi Technology-Intel My WiFi Dashboard, Exclusive Bluetooth 4.0/WiFi module"
Even though it's not listed on the Gigabyte if you look at pictures of it you can see the ethernet inserts between the vga and audio inputs. (it actually has two) So i take that to mean that it also has integrated wired internet access, but that I'm not as sure about.
Thank you for linking the tool at Newegg. That will help.
