Hi guys, Ive been looking to build my own pc for a while. I want a reliable gaming rig since my laptop is getting a bit old. (I mostly have time to play Dota 2 and I understand this setup is a bit excessive for that purpose). However I have a budget of 1000 and was wondering if you guys could spot any improvements/recommend changes. Thanks guys!

the only thing i would recommend you change is the cpu if you make it a 4690k you will have a very solid pc

What does the extra $50 for the 4690k provide? Not sure on the differences. Would it extend the viability of my computer for the future having more processing power?

Also is the RAM quality fine for the build(I cheapened out to fit my budget).

Thanks for the help btw!

your ram between 1600mhz and 1800 or 2133 doesnt make much of a difference but the cpu has a better processor and therefore will last longer the 4690k was released in april and will last ages i build a pc for my sister and it kicks amd ***
