I'm worried about two things:

  1. the noise of the r9 280

  2. whether my mobo will be strong enough to hold it, as reviews tell me it is heavy.

Also, is it better than the GTX 760?

1.) I personally would go with the Rosewill Line M case, which has the motherboard screwed in at the bottom. 2.) If your case holds the motherboard on the bottom, I think it should be fine with the 280. 3.) You might want to go with a 290 for this build, considering it's only $30 dollars more right now. I'm not an expert with computers, but these are just my opinions.

Thank you for your input, but I've already decided about the parts list since they all come from NCIX. I just wanna know if the mobo will be strong enough :)

I would either buy the parts and keep the PC on its side, or consult someone else, because I don't really know.
