First custom gaming PC.

I have the money and some to spare in case I need some more hardware but from what I have been told about building PC's, I doubt I will need some "extra" hardware. I just want some opinions on the hardware or some other options of the same price range of up to 2k. I would like it to last a while and not suddenly start sprouting problems a year later like my previous Dell computer. Constructive criticism accepted.

I changed the CPU because the don't get any bonus for the i7 and its a more recent platform. With the money saved with the CPU I put in a better, more recent GPU and an SSD.
