http://pcpartpicker.com/p/rm2pFT This ^^^ is the parts list I have picked out so far. I'll be doing light editing (video, no 3D, maybe music), gaming, and schoolwork on this machine.

Games I'll be playing: CS:GO, Battlefield Bad Company 2, GTA V, Battlefield Harline, Team Fortress 2, Borderlands TPS, Minecraft, etc.

(Games I won't be playing: stupid console ports locked at 30 fps) *i don't have anything against consoles, just their ports

I'll be watching movies and burning CD's, so I need the blu-ray drive.

I want to keep the keyboard, but by all means, go ahead and get rid of the mouse; I already have a great Logitech M560. I'd like to keep the monitor, too. As far as the wireless adapter goes, I am planning on investing in a Netgear Nighthawk for those pesky LAN's where the speed drops to 3 Mb/s withing the next year.

Thank you in advance for all help. ~uuberk

Don't need a CPU Cooler, the stock will be fine for your usage, you could always get a different one at a later date if you choose to overclock.

Mouse removed

Changed the wireless adapter to not be a insanely overpriced one.

Thanks! I was also wondering, since I'll be wanting AC wireless capability, would I be able to get the gigabyte AC adapter?

Since you may possibly be watching more than a few movies + it is a great format for gaming. I spent a little more for a monitor you may have not considered. Movies will be full screen in the native format and all games I have run across in the last few years support the res. and it is a great field of view.

SSD is double the space, CPU is still OCable, build is SLIable.

Same performance , just not as pretty.
