Will It Be Enough

This is my first build, all parts are purchased except for the power supply optical drive and some other small bits.

Im not sure if this will be enough. It's the Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply.

It is non modular, however that isnt a primary concern for me. I just would like to know if it will be enough.

I liked the price and the video card I have (EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card) is very efficient, using only 145 watts.

Thanks!

The minimum requirement for PSU wattage according to EVGA is 500W, the CX500 only has 456W on the +12V rail. I'd recommend getting a bigger PSU.

Get an EVGA 650w gold PSU. There's one for $59.99 right now

The builder series is junk, but either way, aim for about 650w

I believe its enough how ever for future compatibility I would get something in the 650 range . EVGA has one and it's not to much
