I don't understand SSD fully..... I know it is faster, and doesn't have moving parts..... but can they be used as your main / only HDD? And if so, can you recommend one to go with this setup? I don't need huge storage..... I have never exceeded 250GB of storage on any computer I have ever had.

This PC will be used for:

World of Warcraft Internet Word Processing MP3 creation and real basic video editing ( actually I plan to learn how to edit video.... I never have )...... My video will be coming from a GoPro, mostly.

Sure, if you're not gonna exceed the size of the ssd it can be your only drive. You do need to leave some space on em tho to help performance tho, 10-20% or something like that iirc.
