<$900 Gaming Build--Cyber Monday Purchase

PlasmaStar42

BUILD PURCHASE IN T-MINUS 4 DAYS.

I've been editing and editing; after a year or so of research and work to earn the cash for it, I finally have the chance to buy this beauty... although some more changes, if at all necessary, would be fantastic in improving the cost and buying this build in less than 92 hours.

This is it--My baby. Please, do direct me to any other parts that may be worth my time in terms of cost efficiency, better performance and awesomeness, or just general improvements. I can't wait to see this thing come to life!

What are you planning to do with? Most people will tell you 12gb of ram probably isn't necessarily, in which case you could drop it down to 8gb and use the spare change to buy a small SSD to boot from?!

Well, point made I probably should drop to 8 GB of RAM--I am really just trying to safe-guard myself, my current laptop has 2 and I really hate it, in fact that's my nemesis when it comes to computer components. But I am already getting a 2 TB from my dad, and then another two or three hard drives from my neighbor ranging anywhere from 250 GB to 650 GB. So I will definitely have a couple extra GB to boot from.

What I'm saying is you might consider booting from a solid state drive since they are much quicker than standard HDDs

Right--nobody told me that! Thanks for the info.

Not a problem. They're also more reliable as they have no moving parts

Drop the Case fans unless you actually need them. Generally speaking the case comes with some case fans that should guarantee a decent airflow. And if possible add a CPU Cooler for mild overclocking.

where I'm putting this thing pretty much means I NEED the fans, or it will overheat. I have two fans of my own and the room still makes me sweat...

It won't really make a difference since the CPU cooler can't cool anything below air temp. That's your shot though, everything else looks promising.

Thanks! If luck persists--which it usually does--I am about to purchase some of the parts right now even. the final build looks a little something more like this...
