Planning on building my own PC for Christmas, and I came up with this.

What will I be doing with my PC? A: Schoolwork, Gaming (Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, Combat Arms, and maybe Battlefield 4), and some Video Recording and Rendering (Bandicam and AVS Video Editor)

NOTES: I do NOT Care about playing at 1080p on Ultra, I am likely going to have a 1366x768 monitor. Also, I do not mind Intel, It's just I see way too many people redirecting me to Intel Builds that are several hundred more, yet give me things I may not use.

Thanks!

great but change the ram to a dual rank The 8 gb kit (1K) from AMD is single ranked and their 16gb kit (2K) are dual ranked. Also the gigabyte motherboard is the best one and then the asrock

get the gigabyte you wont regret it

for ram get something like this

Thanks for the suggestions. I still prefer the MSI A88XI AC IMO. I will go for the G Skill Sniper, I have G Skill RAM in my Laptop and it has served me well.

I still need some convincing that Kaveri will work for a gaming/video editing build. I'm not competitive, nor am I uploading videos every day.

your best option would be a FX-6300 and a R7 250 (equivalent to gpu in 7850K) or better a R9 270x
