A Gaming PC for my Husband - Opinions and Advice Needed

Hello everyone! I need your advice or opinions, it would be greatly appreciated. I am putting together a gaming pc for my husband, and since this is my first time part-picking for a pc I would really be grateful for the help. Just a tidbit of information first (you don't have to read it, but I'd like to share). My husband is a very hard-working man, being in the military, and everyday he comes home tired and wants to relax. Sadly his current rig (Alienware) is years old, and needs a very nice upgrade. He's running a dual-core cpu and wants to run Dragon Age: Inquisition, he's certainly going to need an upgrade! (I mean my laptop outruns his tower.. that's so sad (especially because it's not a gaming laptop))

UPDATE Might switch out for a S340, and a kraken x61

I do plan to SLI this build later down the road, so water cooling is a must! Plus all that OCing' you know. Here's my cooling plan for the build: H440 Using the rear as exhaust and the front as intake. The H105 will be pull.

My budget has a bit of leeway: $1300 (preferred) or $1400 (a can-do)

The build is good but a couple of things spring to mind. Firstly, you appear to be replacing the fans that come with the case and the CPU cooler, at a cost of around $100. Secondly, that is a very expensive motherboard when there are a lot of very good cheaper options.

By reducing these costs, you could add an SSD and a better gaming monitor, plus get you back on budget.

You're right, I am replacing all the stock fans. Although for the sake of saving money, I might use the stock fans instead of the Noctuas (preferred them because how highly reviewed they were compared to H440 stock fans), however I still need that Static Pressure fan for the HDD. Will probably replace the board, kind of overkill anyway. Would really prefer a IPS monitor. But you've saved me $112.
