I would have to say yes, I own one and it's worked wonderfully. Not only does it support up to DDR3-PC2000 memory, but it has 4 X16 PCIe slots, and 8+2 Phase power for more stable overclocking if you plan on going that route.

Yes I'm a little biased, but even though this is the lowest cost of the 990FX based boards it's still very good.

the gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

revision 5 which is the last one is the black and gray, for some reason the photo on PCPP is the old blue one.

While that is a decent board it is only limited to PC-1333 memory, something to consider.

but revision 5 which is the black and gray will work with 1600, faster ram will default to 1600. Check this..
