Hey

I get 2 incompatiblity warnings, any ideas?

Also, would a Geforce 8800 GTX work with this mother board, I'm thinking about taking it out of my other computer to use it with this one

If you check the motherboard and chip im using, do you have any other boards you recommend that you think might work better that aren't much more costly?

The 1st: The 3.0 USBs cant be used with the case, as the case itself does not support 3.0. That doesnt mean the USB is unusable just means your cases 2.0 have to go in their place. This should be fine as far as i'm aware as 3.0 is backwards compatible. But..3.0 is sooo much better.

The 2nd: May be more of an issue. unless you know what your doing bios updates can be very...difficult.

I think the best solution is actually to scrap the case and attached PSU and go for the slightly more exspensive option of getting them seperately. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-case-galaxy03 & http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100w10500kr

As for the 8800.. short answer.. yes. But although it was a workhorse, its now really starting to see its age. http://www.hwcompare.com/15809/geforce-8800-gtx-vs-radeon-r9-270x/

Honestly in terms of starting fresh, I would go with what I built and bought yesterday and maybe spice it up.. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/pg84GX

It's incredably good for a low/mid gaming pc, just remeber to add a HDD and case (the one above is good. I'm considering it myself). TBH if your short on cash like i am then use whatever you already have if you can. If you have a case, use it untill later down the line, you can always buy a better one later. for now use everything you have on getting that base performance. Reuse that optical drive, HDD, case and spend it on the GPU and the CPU.
