So I created my own system but i have a big problem with price, i wanted to keep it down to $700 and ended up at $900. I wanted to create a PC for small time gaming, i only play a handful of games on my laptop they work ok i just need a better graphics card. On my laptop i use about 150gb of my 900gb memory, i have an i5 with 2.5hz, and a intel hd 4000 graphics card, the games i play are SWTOR, Fallout NV, and SimCity. like i said, they work fine but video isn't pretty. This is the assembly of the PC i chose on here, what should i cut cost on?

Drop the ssd and cpu cooler. Ssd will only help boot and load time. The extreme of a cpu cooler is only for overclocking. The stock one will do fine starting out.

After that, redo everything. Thats a old overpriced cpu and mobo. For that budget, look at a 7850k that has a good integrated gpu or 860k and a dedicated gpu.

Build looks pretty good overall but if you want a big jump in graphics performance for a higher price, I would suggest a 3GB Graphics card

If you want to keep the cost around the same you can take out the SSD.
