Will this cause a problem?

Here's my build: CPU Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz Quad-Core $278.99
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper TX3 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing $14.99
Motherboard Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 $119.99
Memory Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 $59.99
Storage Hitachi Ultrastar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $45.00
Video Card Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 4GB WINDFORCE $209.99
Case Thermaltake Chaser A31 Snow White ATX Mid Tower $62.03
Power Supply EVGA 500W ATX12V / EPS12V $32.99
Optical Drive Lite-On iHAS124-14 DVD/CD Writer $12.99
Operating System Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) $86.42
Wireless Network Adapter Asus USB-N13 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 $18.99

A note at the bottom says "The Thermaltake Chaser A31 Snow White ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 410mm long, but video cards over 290mm may block drive bays. Since the Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card is 297mm long, some drive bays may not be usable." Will this cause a problem or will it still be fine? Thanks for your time.

It's just letting you know that the video card will block some of the hard drive bays within the case. There should be others open for your hard drive, though, so it shouldn't cause any problems. And, hello again!

I've looked at your two posts and I'd change a few things;

  • An I7 offers little over an I5 for gaming, added a better CPU cooler
  • Added faster memory and a better hard drive
  • The 270x is a budget video card, they cost about $140, that one is really expensive. Your original choice is better, Nvidia 970
  • I would stick with your original case, Corsair 200r, I've built a system with one, they're easy to work with
  • Added better PSU and optical drive
  • USB wireless adaptors are troublesome from my experience, added a PCI express one

Thank you! I'm new to all this PC stuff and I am trying to understand a little better. One more question, when I get all the parts together, will they send me each part individually or build it for me? Thanks again for your time.

They'll send the parts individually, unless you can find someone offering a service to build it for you, which of course would be an additional cost.

It's not that difficult to build, if you search 'building a PC step by step' on Youtube you'll find plenty of videos showing you what is involved.
