Looking for Input on Potential First Build

Thyferian

I'm looking into building my first gaming rig and keep the price under $900. I'd like to run the new Dragon Age, Company of Heroes 2, Skyrim and other such games. I've kind of gone back and forth between Intel and AMD but it looks like AMD is a bit better bang for your buck when your in the under $200 range. But I'd definitely be interested to hear opinions. Also, is the PSU overkill? I just ran into an issue with my current store bought computer where there wasn't enough to upgrade it(that was also a 350W though).

I also ordered the CPU and SSD since they were on sale and I had some gift cards to kill, but can always return them if it's recommended.

Any input would be appreciated!

Saved you a couple buck and didn't diminish performance.

I'd add an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Awesome, that looks great and I honestly like the case better (plus $100 saved is a win no matter what). Would adding the CPU cooler now as opposed to aftermarket have any great benefit?

Thanks for the help!

An aftermarket cooler would decrease temps, help with an OC, and make considerably less noise. The AMD CPU fans can get loud.

Jeeze, yeah those videos are definitely motivating for an after cooler. Thanks for all the advice and I'll be making my purchase tonight and hopefully putting together next week.
