First build, needing advice!

Atroz

This is my first build and I don't know a whole lot about building a computer, so any advice is appreciated. Wanting to keep the build under $600 after MIRs. Unless of course MIRs are unlikely to happen or aren't worth my time (never messed with MIRs before either).

you don't need a Z motherboard as it will only benefit you with an unlocked cpu (K) to be able to overclock. You have a non-k cpu so you can get a H97. Take into consideration that the newer H97 and Z97 have better upgradability as they will be compatible with the new intel broadwell coming next year.

Thanks for pointing out my error on the mobo! Alright so other than the mobo not being a good pick with the cpu, is there anything else "wrong" with the parts I picked? Also how well do you think this build will do for playing games such as CS:GO and Diablo 3? Aiming for 60+ FPS at Medium-High.

well that's a great gpu but with the requirements for cs:go you would be better off with an i5 aiming at high, the cheapest one wont bottleneck practically any card.

Switched out the CPU and the Mobo. The price went up $80.00 compared to the first one, but it's still affordable. So anything else you notice that's bad with the build or should I start ordering everything? Also thanks a ton for all the help, I really can't thank you enough! It helps a lot to get advice from someone when I'm a complete amateur at this.
