I am trying to do a build for my son as a gift. I already have the CPU and the mobo. I am trying to decide between the graphic card on my list or possibly this one: ASUS R9270-DC2OC-2GD5

He mostly just plays wow or lol.

Suggestions? Someone said I should have an 1866 mobo for the FX 6300 cpu? I have no idea what I'm doing and would love some input! Thanks

better priced ram. better priced storage. black series is a little overkill. saving on both those got you a upgraded gpu.

I'm sorry, so you think it is an okay build and the R9 280 is good or do you have a different suggestion? I don't know what I'm doing.

its ok i think the build is great for your son. only thing i would have changed was the case but thats because i like clean slick looking cases. but only thing i would add is this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2 just to keep the cpu temps down. the stock coolers with that cpu are known to be loud and still run hot. and hot i meant the amd cpus throttle at 65c.
