I'm giving my gf a new photo editing rig for Xmas. The old rig was a gaming rig I built almost 10 years ago: i7 core2duo, 8 gb ram, sli'd 8600 GTS', 1000w psu. Adobe cs4 master edition with lightroom

New rig: I7 3770k 32gb ram 250gb Samsung evo SSD windows/scratch(partitioned evenly) 250gb samsung evo SSD apps (2) 1tb wd cavier blue raid1 Photoshop cs6 and Lightroom

Forgot to mention I got her a 27" 120hz 1440 monitor as an upgrade to an old 21,5" 1080p 60hz monitor.
