Hello all!

I'm building a budget machine, less than £600, so I've gone with AMD.

Would this build suffice - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/C2LTNG

I'm hoping to run GTA5, MGS5 and DayZ.

I want to future proof this (looking at least a 8 year life span), and hopefully one day I'll move up to an SLI configuration.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Oh, also no HDDs on there - have far too many and I have a copy of Windows 8. Saved me a few bob there!

If you're looking to upgrade to 2 gpus you'll need amd. Nvidia sli is not supported with amd cpus. Only crossfire. Otherwise it looks good to me

Thanks for your reply! I had an inkling SLI wouldn't be possible.

Just looking online and the 290 seems a far better option than the 290x.

You could probably go with an r9 290/290x for around that price. Amd is super cheap right now
