$2300 machine for audio recording/editing, gaming, and some video editing, opinions welcome!

I'm looking at the following parts for a home use system that'll be roughly 3/8 audio recording and editing, 3/8 gaming, and the remaining 1/4 a bit of image and video editing. I've hashed out what I've got so far with a couple friends of mine and some online research, and feeling mostly pretty good about it. I welcome any and all criticism and suggestions!

Caveat: I know the Eris E5's aren't exactly top-notch studio monitors, but I'll have to cut a corner there for the time being as I've quite fully maxed out my budget. ALSO: What custom thermal paste should I get? I think I'll need it for the cooling unit.

A sound card is unneeded, If you are trying to hook up audio monitors, or microphones, use the Scarlett 2i2 audio interface, I use it all the time. Cheers.

I wondered about that, I'd use an input interface like that anyway for microphones. Does it improve system performance and audio output using a soundcard, though? That was more what I had in mind with it.

system performance, somewhat, audio performance, sorta, but it is recommended for use with monitors because it has an monitor out and amp. and a bit cheaper than a audio card. Cheers.
