Thoughts before I buy? $1000, first gaming build

Hey! This is my first build. I am a newbie and I have just recently discovered PCPartPicker. I was hoping for some input on this Gaming-PC build.

1.) I've heard I don't need the i7-4790k and can just get the i5-4690k. However, since I can get the i7-4790k for $172 I figure I might as well pick it up. Alternatively, I could get the i5-4690k for $125. I have never OC'd before, but I will entertain the idea eventually.

2.) As far as getting an SSD and HD.. Do I need to pair my SSD with a Hybrid Hard-drive? Or is my selection okay?

3). I'd like to do a white and blue theme. Do I just buy a couple LED fans with the color I like? Options/Opinions?

I am trying to keep the cost to less than $1000. Any tips would be great! Thanks!

(I play WoW, Dota2, Smite. I will be purchasing FPS games down the road too. I want to be able to run my games on ultra/high for as long as possible).
