I've started planning for a new computer, and I've decided I want as small of a computer as possible. That said, I still want a powerful build. One thing that crossed my mind is that I don't need any space for HDD's or DVD/BD-drives. I'll likely run dual-SSD (perhaps one M2 SSD, one SATA).
However in addition to supporting 2 SSD's I also wanting to fit in:
- 1-2 GTX980 cards
- top tier CPU (not sure which kind, but alas)
- 32 GB capable motherboard (i.e probably 4 slots) - might limit how small the motherboard is.
- preferably an enclosed water cooling system (I really like them over stock cpu fans).
- Would be preferable to have bottom-mounted PSU (that doesn't connect airflow with the case), and top-mounted fan exhaust for water cooler.
So I guess my question is, are there any 2.5"/SSD only cases at all? It seems like you could save a lot in size by not making room for 3.5/5.25" devices. Clearly I still want space for one or two large graphics cards so it can't be an ultra-small, integrated graphics only case.
Thanks!
