Yes they will work, although two things stand out. First of all, your hard drive is only a 5900 rpm model. The standard for HDD's these days is 7200, so I'd really recommend going with that.

Also, unless you have a specific reason for going with Windows 7, I'd recommend going with 8.1. You can get classic shell if you don't like the start menu, which basically leaves you with a faster, smoother Windows 7.

I'm not sure about pricing on Australia but most other places the price drops of the 290 and 290x make the 770 worthless as a they both more powerful. Worth checking out IMO.
