My situation is in the link. I'm super bad at this and am trying to get a gaming rig with 2GB+ GPU/4GB+ RAM/Solid processor that can do games like Eve Online and possibly Battlefield 4 at solid settings with a good framerate. If learning all this myself fails I will just go buy an Alienware Alpha.

you need a video canrd ( if u what to do battlefield 4) and a HDD my friend!
