This is what I have so far. It is my first build, and makes me a bit nervous haha. Any advice on improvements or downgrades to save a few bucks? Looking for high settings at 60 fps.

Not interested in OC, and will play DA:I, WoW, maybe Swtor and future games. Thanks folks.

You could dump the cooler and save some money. The stock one that comes with the CPU will suffice. You can't overclock the CPU you have chosen so no point having the aftermarket cooler unless you like the look.

Apart from that it looks good

So the cpu cooler is not needed. Good news. Would buying a K model I5 and z97 board to overclock later extend the life of this build?

Any upgrades will extend the life of the build.

not really, they give you the option to overclock, nothing more. if you did go for those items with the intention of overclocking then your aftermarket cooler would be needed
