First PC Build/ Console Replacement

smoothtransitions

Well, I was originally going to purchase an exbox one but decided it was time to make the upgrade to a proper gaming pc. Here is the part list i have picked out so far; pcpartpicker

I will be shopping boxing day deals and hoping to build a decent rig at a resonable cost. Please let me know if theres any problems with this list or if theres any changes that should be made. Thanks!

it is fine although i would spend more on the motherboard and cpu and get a r9 280 card instead of the 290 as it seems you are pumping most of the budget on the card compared to rest of the sysytem

Thank you for this comment. This isn't even my post, and I decided to switch from the 290 to the 280. If I need more GPU power in the future, it's xFire ready, so I can throw the additional 200 or so bucks at it and make it sexy.

ok, what would you recommend? Will there be a noticeable performance drop between the r9 280 -290.
